The Ventura, California Chamber of Commerce has announced that they will host a Connections breakfast. The purpose of this event is to allow local business leaders and employees the chance to get to know each other, expand their business network, and make pitches to prospective clients.
Chamber hosts have noted that the event usually draws around 100 people. Attendees will have a chance to meet with other Chamber members and appear on a “hot sheet” that will be distributed to all event attendees. Once the event starts, every member will have the chance to speak for twenty seconds about who they are, what their business can do, and how they can serve Chamber members who are in attendance. Attending members will then have the opportunity to follow up with businesses that they want to learn more about.
As noted by Chamber officials, the explicit purpose of this event is to allow Ventura business leaders to grow their networks. As such, members who attend should bring plenty of Business Cards and a networking mindset.
The event is being held on Friday, January 4, 2024. It is a breakfast event and will run from 8:00 am – 9:45 am. Food will be served. Chamber members will be charged $40, non-members $50. Members can register in advance or pay an extra $5 if they show up at the door.
