The Ventura area is proud of its agricultural heritage, and this sector will be on full display during an event that will offer a sneak peek behind the farm gate.
The annual Ventura County Farm Day will see over 15 locations open their gates to the public so they can learn more about agriculture and its role in the area’s economy. This will be its 12th year, and the whole family may take part.
The farms, ranches, and other operations on the list of stops for the day will each have activities on offer, and many will also have tours available. Some will have hayrides, food tastings, demonstrations, and other fun, and while they enjoy the experience, everyone will have the chance to learn more about where their food and natural fibers come from.
To help make the function more accessible, the organizers have put together a map of the participating operations. It will be self-guided, and participants are encouraged to make a weekend of it by booking accommodation. A brochure printing company can craft informative pamphlets and other handouts to distribute during a public event.
The 2024 Ventura County Farm Day will offer a salute to agriculture on Saturday, November 2. It is free to attend, and a map and further information can be found by visiting its website.
