The annual Recreation Expo will be held by the city of Vacaville early next month at the Ulatis Community Center.
This is an event hosted by the Parks and Recreation Department to introduce its programming for the summer. The community will be able to register their children for summer camps, and will be offering a discount of 10 percent at the Expo.
Attendees will be able to meet the staff of the city, enjoy interactive activities, register for their top programming choices, and enter to win a wide range of prizes. This event promises to be fun for people of all ages, and provides the opportunity to explore and connect with a variety of programs.
There will be a Parks and Recreation Events Guide that attendees can explore before attending the Expo. Such guides are often made available by the printing services of local Print shops.
Qualifying families will be able to apply for Youth Recreation Scholarships. Those who register for camps with a total cost of $500 or more and make a down payment of 50 percent will be offered plans to pay later with payments due by Sunday, May 12.
