The season of the Solano Symphony Orchestra in Vacaville continues with two concerts - one next month and the other in the new year.
Such events often use banner printing services to promote themselves throughout the community.
The first will be a special celebration performance for the holidays. Led by Maestro Semyon Lohss, the orchestra will be playing selections from The Nutcracker ballet composed by Tchaikovsky, along with the “Du and Du” waltz by Strauss and seasonal favorites, “Sleigh Ride” and “A Christmas Festival” by Leroy Anderson. Featured will a solo mandarin performance of Hummel’s Mandolin Concerto in G Major by Dana Rath. This concert will take place on Sunday, December 5.
The next will be a Salute to Youth featuring the winners of the orchestra’s Young Artist Competition, along with young orchestral players and vocal and instrumental soloists performing with the orchestra. The Vacaville High School Premiere Orchestra led by Melinda Ellis, Music Director; and the Wind Ensemble of Vanden High School, led by Troy Symington, Music Director will also be participating in this special concert.
This concert will be held on Sunday, February 13, 2022. Both performances will be held at the Vacaville Performing Arts Theatre and begin at 3:00 p.m.
Founded in 1987, the Solano Symphony Orchestra comprises local musicians who share their passion for music and talent with the community to offer music for the education, enjoyment, and promotion of the arts.
