The historic Vacaville Opera House will be hosting its annual Madrigal Dinner next month. This is the 23rd consecutive year of holding the event, which is a traditional part of the holiday season.
Merchant and Main Catering from Vacaville will be providing a three-course dinner. The entertainment will be performed by the Will C. Wood Sylvan Singers and Tintinnabulist Bell Ringers.
There will be three dinner performances—Thursday, December 5 through Saturday, December 7 beginning with caroling and a happy hour at 6:30 and the dinner show at 7:00. On the Saturday, there will also be a matinee with wassail at 2:00 pm followed by the show at 2:30 pm.
Also taking place that weekend is the Masquerade Ball of the Tri-City NAACP at the Yin Ranch Event and Conference Place in Vacaville. Ticket prices are $100 per person with corporate sponsorships available and opportunities to advertise in the souvenir booklet. Such Booklets are often printed by local Print shops. This gala will take place on Saturday, December 7 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm.
The Solano Family First Responders will be ringing in the new year with a Roaring 2020s party at the Center for Freedom and Flight in Vacaville. Attendees are encouraged to wear their best attire of the 20s. This party will take place on Tuesday, December 31 beginning at 7:00 pm.
