The CreekWalk Concert Series has returned to Andrews Park in Vacaville this summer.
From this month through August, there will be a new performer at the park each Friday night to deliver both familiar and original pieces. Schedules of such performances with more details about the musicians themselves is often outlined with flyer printing.
Taking the stage this Friday, June 17, will be Ariel Marin who grew up in the Bay Area and has performed with the legendary Hot Tuna, as well as a tribute show to jazz signer Sade in Oakland. The following week will be Whiskey & Honey, a quintet based in Wine Country. The group plays country music classics in addition to the work of more contemporary artists such as Carrie Underwood and the Zac Brown Band.
The cost to attend each concert is $3 per person with no charge for those 12 years of age and younger. There are also season passes for $20 per person. New this year is an option to “Celebrate Your Birthday” for those whose birthday falls on the day of a concert. Nugget Markets will create a custom cake and the Vacaville Parks and Recreation staff will pay a birthday tribute during intermission. The cost for this is $125.
All concerts run from 6:30 to 9:30 pm. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to view the concerts.
