Debbie Egidio is now the interim CEO and president of the Vacaville Chamber of Commerce.
Chambers such as this one often turn to printing services in the area to inform businesses and residents of such appointments.
Egidio takes over the helm from Becky Craig who left to become the assistant county executive officer of Napa County. Egidio has served on the Board of Directors of the Chamber from 2010 to 2017 and was its chairperson from 2015 to 2016. She also has an extensive career in marketing, which includes working at Marine World Africa USA in Vallejo, and at the Vallejo Convention and Visitors Bureau as its marketing director.
Egidio had been contacted by Ed Rapisarda, the chairman-elect of the board, to step into the position and expressed her honor in being trusted with leading the Chamber at this time. She added that this is a particularly critical time for businesses in the community and that it is going to be special for her, as she helps move businesses and the citizens in the community back into more normal operations.
She will be listening to members of the Chamber and meeting with committees in her new role. She plans to continue with the programs currently in place and wants to work with the board in determining how to return to events such as ribbon cutting ceremonies and networking.
