The Academy of 21st Century Learning has moved into a new facility in Vacaville.
The facility is on a campus on Vaca Valley Parkway. During a private move-in event, the Parent Teacher Organization unveiled a special gift to the next campus. The students who attend the school had painted rocks for the celebration and built a rock garden that highlighted their work. The members of the Council and Mayor John Carli helped everyone move Boxes into the new space.
The new location of the Academy of 21st Century Learning is in the heart of the advanced manufacturing and biotech center of Vacaville, and less than one half mile from the Vacaville campus of Solano Community College. This location will provide easy access to the expanding opportunities and robust industry partnerships in the area.
The Academy of 21st Century Learning prepares students in the areas of science, technology, engineering, entrepreneurship, art, and math. This holistic approach to learning emphasizes how these fields are interconnected and encourages students to apply their knowledge to solve problems in the real world. The Academy’s new building will be open to the public on Monday, June 19 with the start of their state-of-the-art tutoring center and summer camps.
