The 18th annual Pink Ice Winter Gala Fundraiser will be held next month in Vacaville. This celebration will debut the partnership of the Tau Upsilon Omega (TUO) of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority with Pearls of Wisdom Educational Resources Inc. (P.O.W.E.R.).
The regular admission price of $85 include a dinner, dancing, and live entertainment. The admission price of $100 for a VIP ticket includes preferential seating, wine, and a gift. TUO and P.O.W.E.R. are hoping to make the evening an enjoyable and positive experience for all attendees. Special events such as this one are often promoted throughout a community with poster printing.
The Pearls of Wisdom Foundation is a nonprofit that provides scholarships to selected students to be able to realize their educational goals. Through its scholarships, service programs and partnerships with other organizations in the community, P.O.W.E.R. encourages young people and young adults to pursue continued education.
TUO has been serving the communities of Vacaville, Rio Vista, Fairfield, Suisun, Travis Air Force Base, and Dixon communities since 1993. It is involved in the Susan G. Komen, More than Pink Walk for the Cure; the Alzheimer’s Walk, on the Suisun Waterfront; and Adopt a Room of Mission Solano.
The Gala will be held at the Sunrise Banquet Hall and Event Center on Orange Drive in Vacaville on Saturday, January 25 beginning at 6:00 pm and running until 11:00 pm.
