The Vacaville Museum is hosting several activities and events this month and next.
Such activities and events are often made known throughout a city and neighboring communities with poster printing.
There are two Monthly Walking Tours a month on Saturday mornings from 10:00 a.m. to noon. The first tour of the month is the Buck Avenue walking tour which views historical homes from the sidewalk to learn about their past. The second tour of the month is of newer places in downtown Vacaville to learn about significant markers and historical buildings. Tickets are $15 per person. Tours this month will be October 14 and next month on November 4 and end on November 18.
The Vacaville Museum will also be partnering with The Empowerment Project to host a Wine and Cheese Night at the Museum. This will be an evening of sampling wines from local wineries with chocolate and charcuterie cups with all proceeds going to benefit The Empowerment Project. This event will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday October 21.
There will be a free Photograph Restoration Class with Jeff Hamilton. This will cover a range of resources, tools, and basic techniques that can be used to maintain family photographs. Time will be allocated for questions and answers. This workshop will be held on Saturday November 4 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
