A lesson held at a Tustin art studio in early April will show participants how to create a piece based on work by an iconic painter.
“Sailing with Monet” is a class in which students will learn how to paint in a style similar to the famed artist Claude Monet. The painting that inspired the event is “Cliffs and Sailboats at Pourville,” which Monet crafted in 1882.
An instructor will be present to help explain all the steps and techniques used. They will ensure that every painter completes their artwork, and that they have the assistance needed. Those attending this event should plan for arriving up to half an hour prior to the time listed.
The studio sells both beverages and food at an additional cost. Due to laws in place at the state level, bringing alcohol in is not allowed. The class allows for participants as young as 16. For anyone under 18, an adult is required to participate along with them.
The cost is $39 per person. Seating is reserved, meaning any groups paying separately should send a note to staff with the names of those they’re hoping to sit near. Promoters for artistic events frequently select flyer printing when planning their advertising.
This class will take place at Pinot’s Palette, which can be found at 2479 Park Avenue. The date is to be Saturday, April 6, and the lesson will be running between 3:00pm and 5:30pm.
