Kids who love dogs, and Snoopy, have the chance to take part in a special doghouse gingerbread project later this month.
The Charles M. Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa is hosting a special class where kids can construct and decorate Snoopy’s doghouse from gingerbread and other materials. Children will be given a Snoopy marshmallow to place on top of the house. In addition to the gingerbread house, participants will also make cards and ornaments.
The class is designed for children in first through sixth grade. The workshop costs $25 for museum members and $32 for non-members.
There is also a parent-child Snoopy gingerbread workshop, designed for kids aged three to six. For this, the fees are the same but include an adult and child pair. For an extra $10, an additional child can attend.
Interested individuals need to register in advance online or by calling (707)-284-1272. For promotional purposes, it’s likely a poster printing service has been asked to make Signs to hang around the museum.
The parent-child class takes place on December 13 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. The first of three grade school workshops is on December 13 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm. There will also be workshops on December 14 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
The event will take place at the Schulz Museum Education Annex, located on 1835 Steele Lane.Get a Free Quote for Signs
