Santa Rosa plans to usher in the new year with the help of an intimate classical music concert being held in early February. This event will be showcasing the works of Sergei Prokofiev, and it also features additional compositions suitable for attendees of all ages.
Dubbed Santa Rosa Symphony at Brannan Center: An Intimate Chamber Series, this concert intends to highlight Peter and the Wolf. Peter and the Wolf is arguably one of Prokofiev's most famous works. Guests can also expect to enjoy a rendition of The Seahorse and the Crab composed by Michael Djupstrom.
Those who arrive early with children are likewise encouraged to attend an "instrument petting zoo". This seminar provides younger guests with an opportunity to handle the instruments used by classical musicians.
