Santa Rosa fitness enthusiasts have already begun limbering up for an annual marathon slated to be held in August. This event provides plenty of competitions, so athletes of virtually any skill level can participate.
The Santa Rosa Marathon is currently in its 18th year, and 2026 is expected to attract a wide range of participants. A 10K race, a 5K race, a full marathon, and a half marathon are the main categories that attendees can select. Anyone who completes the events mentioned above will be provided with a handful of complimentary rewards. These include race medals, and branded merchandise contained within a swag bag.
Organizers have also announced that a virtual competition will be offered this year. Runners can record their times and enter these on a separate website after the information has been verified. This is a unique opportunity for Santa Rosa residents who are unable to attend the physical marathon.
