Santa Rosa soon to celebrate lunar new year

Similar to other cities throughout California, Santa Rosa will soon be recognizing the lunar new year. This festival should attract a large crowd, and it will be specifically geared towards children.

The Year of the Horse will be celebrated in 2026, and the lunar new year has become an important part of Asian culture. Santa Rosa boasts a considerable Asian population, so it only stands to reason that events such as this have always drawn a great deal of interest.

All festivities are being held at The Children's Museum of Sonoma County, and it is open to audiences of all ages. The main goal is to introduce the younger generation to the concept of the lunar new year, and to provide a welcome atmosphere. While festivities will naturally focus on traditional Forms of celebration, other areas of the museum will remain open throughout the day to those who wish to view additional exhibits.

Annual festivals will normally use proven marketing techniques to keep the public informed. Some common examples include working in tandem with local Graphic Design Services to produce Flyers, and distributing pamphlets.

Santa Rosa will be celebrating the 2026 lunar new year on Saturday, January 31st from 10 AM to 2 PM. All events are being held at the Children's Museum of Sonoma County located at 1835 West Steele Lane. Adult admission is $24, and children over 11 months will be charged $11.
