Lily Tomlin began performing in the 1960s, and secured a recurring role on the television program Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In. Thanks to a powerful on-screen presence, she soon began to work with other iconic celebrities, one example being Jane Fonda. Tomlin chose to join forces with Fonda recently, and her Netflix series Grace and Frankie has proven to be a hit with younger viewers. Tomlin has won seven Emmy Awards, and two Grammies.
