Advanced Care Planning can help to ensure that a person’s wishes will be respected, even if they are not able to speak for themselves, and a Santa Rosa workshop will explore the benefits of doing so.
The free class will cover a variety of topics that are related to advanced care planning. The participants will be give tips about how they can select a healthcare agent who can speak for them if hey are not able to speak for themselves, and there will also be advice shared about how to complete an advanced health care directive.
The function will be split into two parts, and the first will be dedicated to advanced care planning. During the second portion, the discussion will focus on advance health care directives. The organizer noted that these are both important, no matter how young or old an individual may be. They went on to say that only 23 percent of California residents have completed these plans, and they hope to encourage more people to do so. A printer that crafts business Forms will be able to provide blank Copies of these directives for the participants to fill out at home.
The Advance Care Planning Presentation and Workshop is scheduled in the Redwood Credit Union Community Room on January 16th. It is free to participate, and all who are interested are welcome.Get a Free Quote for Forms Get a Free Quote for Copies
