The California tiger salamander is an amphibian species that is endemic to the Santa Rosa area, and a professional level workshop will explore its ecology.
The activity will provide a practical field training experience for professional biologists as well as resource managers and students. Both lecture and hands-on components will be included in the day. The registration fee is $325 and a waitlist is being offered if the event sells out.
The day will open with a presentation in the venue’s Heron Hall, which will cover topics ranging from upland habitat use to migration patterns. Once it has drawn to a close, boxed lunches will be served. The afternoon portion will be spent in the field, and as parking is limited, van transportation will be provided.
Jeff Alvarez and Dave Cook will be the instructors for the workshop. It is being presented by Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundation with assistance from The Wildlife Project.
When preparing for a learning activity like this, organizers may require a variety of printing services. A professional Print shop will be able to supply a one-stop shopping experience, which may save both time and money.
The California Tiger Salamander Terrestrial Ecology Workshop will begin at 8:30 am on Friday, March 7 at 900 Sanford Road, Santa Rosa. Spaces in the day can be reserved by visiting list event listing. Get a Free Quote for Print
