One of Santa Rosa’s most popular parks will be the venue for a community Halloween celebration, and it promises to be filled with spinetingling fun.
Members of the public who head to Howarth Park for the annual Halloween at Howarth outdoor party will be trick-or-treating from a variety of stations set up on site. They are encouraged to come in costume, and to keep the function well organized, there are four different start times scheduled for the public to choose from.
The function, which is geared towards kids age 12 and under, will see local businesses and organizations set up booths for the kids to visit. At each of them, they will be able to collect candy, small Promotional Products, or other treats. A photo booth, face painting, and crafting stations are all in the works, and admission is $5.
Along with the Halloween activities, the park’s carousel and train will be in operation. Tickets for these must be purchased separately. These will be on offer for $2.00 each, and they will be available on site.
This kick off to Halloween for Santa Rosa will be held on Saturday, October 29 at 630 Summerfield Road. Its website includes a registration link as well as more information for any members of the local business community who would like to get involved.
