Animal-lovers in Santa Rosa can bring their pets, and their families, to the Northern California Pet Expo.
Attendees can experience a wide array of pet-minded vendors and exhibits. Information on pet grooming, behavior, and overall care are some of the topics exhibitors will cover. There will also be obedience demonstrations and free nail trimming. Giveaways and live entertainment are a few other perks.
Animals can get dressed up in their best getups and enter the pet costume contest. Audience applause levels will decide the winner.
Anyone looking to adopt a furry friend can check out the rescue groups. Vaccination and micro-chipping services will also be available, and veterinarians will be present to answer frequently asked questions.
Due to the popularity of the expo, no doubt sponsors have used banner printing to catch the attention of potential customers and clients.
The expo will take place at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds. Throughout the year, the fairground hosts fairs, festivals, expos, and competitions. Off-track horseracing can be seen at the Jockey Club. Venue space, parks, and a golf course are a few other facilities the establishment has to offer.
The pet expo kicks off in the Hall of Flowers on October 18 from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm. Both admission and parking are free. The Sonoma County Fairgrounds can be found on 1350 Bennett Valley Rd.
