There are hundreds of cultivars and varieties of roses, and these will be the stars of the show at an upcoming Santa Rosa floral event.
The Luther Burbank Art and Garden Center has issued an invitation to one and all to attend the upcoming Spring Rose and Rose Arrangement Show, which is hosted by the Redwood Empire Rose Society. It will be the 55th year that the function has taken place, and it will have offerings for everyone from serious growers to those who just enjoy the scent and beauty of these popular flowers.
The function will give attendees an opportunity to view an assortment of rose arrangements, and the winner of the show will also be on display. Individual floribunda, hybrid tea and other varieties will be on display, and anyone who would like to make an entry can do so. It will give the public an opportunity to learn more about growing roses on their own, and some of the growers may be on site, sharing tips with the crowd.
Rose growing is a hobby that is often taken very seriously by those who enjoy the pastime. Prizes, including ribbons, custom certificates and Corporate Gifts, can all be ordered for an activity from a Print shop.
The 55th annual Spring Rose and Rose Arrangement Show will be on offer on April 30th. Anyone who would like to find out more can do so by visiting the Press Democrat website.
