A wreath made from dried flowers can add a touch of beauty to a room, and a Santa Rosa workshop will soon be teaching the basics of preparing one of these pieces of floral art.
The team at Blossom and Bine have scheduled a class that will introduce the steps to follow in preparing floral wreath using dried botanicals and other materials. As they will be made by hand, each will be unique, and the supplies for the project will be provided.
Once everyone has arrived, the group will head to the flower fields for a quick tour so they can see how the botanicals they work with will have been raised, and it will then be time to get crafting. The finished size of the wreaths will be either 12 inches or 14 inches, and snacks and light refreshments will be supplied. The activity will be able to accommodate children from age 8 up.
A hands-on class that teaches new skills may be an enjoyable way to spend some time. Copies of any handouts and other printed materials needed for an occasion can be prepared by Stationery printers
This introduction to the art of preparing a wreath from dried botanicals harvested in the local area will be on offer on November 10th. It will begin at 2:00 at 2684 Guerneville Road, and it will run for two hours.
