Each spring, Santa Rosa’s Laguna provides migrating birds with a place to rest and refuel on their long trip to the north. A fundraiser has been planned that will both celebrate this event and ensure the space will continue to provide this sanctuary for years to come.
The Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundation will soon be hosting its annual Wings, Wine and Wetlands celebration, and it will give those who attend an opportunity to learn more about these wetlands and the role they play in the natural world. Tickets are $125 each, and there will be many experiences planned for the crowd to enjoy.
Guests at the event will be invited to enjoy wine and other drinks produced in the local area, and there will also be food on offer as well. While they sip and snack, the attendees will be able to stroll through the location’s native plant garden and learn more about the flora that call the area home, and there will also be interactive displays set up to browse through.
The organizers of the occasion noted that they hope to increase both appreciation and awareness of the wetlands. A printing services provider will be able to provide everything from signage to Banners and other printed items for an event like this.
This celebration of Laguna de Santa Rosa has been planned for June 24 at 900 Sanford Road. More details are available on its Facebook listing.
