Santa Rosa’s Forget Me Not Farm will be hosting a day where colleagues can bond and connect with one other while they volunteer to help the area’s foster youth.
Those who participate will learn about the farm and its horticultural and animal-based therapy programming. They will also meet and work with the animals and lend a hand in the therapy garden.
When time comes for lunch, the attendees will be served a picnic with organic ingredients, and this will be followed by a discussion about neuroleadership and an afternoon of yoga and meditation. The organizers noted that the goal is for those who come out to walk away feeling relaxed and refreshed, knowing that they have done a good turn for others.
The registration fee or the occasion is $98 each, and a portion of this will be donated to the farm. A special is being offered where if three people register together, the fourth one will be able to join in the day free of charge. Brochure printing can be utilized to craft materials that provide more information about an event such as this.
This day of mindful volunteering, leadership and relaxation will be taking place on May 11 at 5345 California 12 in Santa Rosa. More details can be sourced from the YOL website.
