Californians will soon be able to check out a fireworks show that was voted the best in Sonoma County.
The ‘Red, White, and Boom’ event is coming to the Sonoma County fairgrounds in Santa Rosa on Independence Day.
Local bands will provide entertainment and vendors will be selling food. Kids can also enjoy bounce houses, face painting, and other activities.
At night, there will be a fireworks show choreographed to live music from local station KZST 100.1 FM. Flyer printing in Santa Rosa is a good way for event organizers to get the word out about a big event such as this one.
Attendees can bring blankets, folding chairs and coolers. However, alcohol, glass containers, personal fireworks, and tents are not permitted.
General admission is $10, while tickets for veterans and young adults, considered between the ages of five and eleven, are $5. Children under the age of five are free. The passes are available on Event Brite, while individuals can also purchase a parking pass for $5.
Proceeds from the event will go to the Children's Museum of Sonoma County, along with disadvantaged youth in the area.
The gates will open at 3:30pm on July 4th. Live music starts at 4:00pm and the fireworks will kick off at 9:30pm.
Taking place at the fairgrounds’ carnival lawn area, located on 1350 Bennett Valley Road, parking is available at the site, the Veteran’s Memorial Building, and below the highway 101 overpass.
