More than 90 local artists will be selling handmade ornaments, gifts, and other treasures at the Annual Handmade Holiday Crafts Sale.
The sale is celebrating 45 years in Santa Rosa, and will feature live music, trolley rides, and activities for children.
There is a one-time admission fee of $3 per person. Children under 12 get in for free. A ticket is valid for duration of the fair, even if for those who come back the next day.
Shoppers are reminded to bring cash, as some vendors accept credit cards, but others do not. Vendors at sales such as these can use services provided at Print shops for Signs, Brochures, Banners, Menus or price tags.
Local groups will provide the live music, with high school choirs, ukulele, and a capella groups. Shoppers can get their photos taken in front of the Christmas tree or the snowman.
Vendors have donated items for a prize giveaway. Visitors can by raffle tickets (with a suggested price of $1 each) to be entered in the prize draw. Proceeds go to the Santa Rosa Recreations and Scholarship Fund. Last year's sale raised more than $1,500 and provided swim lessons and summer camp to children of marginalized families.
The Handmade Holiday Crafts Fair takes place Saturday, December 7 (9:00 am to 5:00 pm) and Sunday, December 8 (10:00 am to 4:00 pm) at the Finley Community Complex, 2060 West College Avenue in Santa Rosa.
