Santa Rosa clinic to cover horse trailering

Transporting a horse safely from one location to another will be the focus of a workshop that has been organized by Sonoma County CFS, and it will be led by seasoned industry experts.

The three-hour Santa Rosa clinic will cover the basics of trailering and more, and its listing explained that it can be good for the beginner or anyone who would like a refresher. It will take place during the afternoon of its scheduled date, and tickets start at $50.00 each.

During the activity, the attendees will be walked through the steps of safely transporting their horse using a trailer and hitch, but they will not need to bring any of these with them. Instructions for changing a tire, basic care and maintenance, and tips for easy loading and unloading will be shared, and driving advice, including how to navigate sharp turns, will be on the agenda as well.

A workshop can compress a lot of information into a small amount of time. Handouts and other learning materials for the participants in a session to take home with them can be prepared by local Stationery printers.

This chance for Santa Rosa horse owners to sharpen their trailering skills is scheduled for April 7th. It will be on offer at 2297 Olivet Road, and will begin at 1:00pm. Tickets can be purchased through its web listing.
