Santa Rosa celebration to feature ice-cold beer

Santa Rosa is set to host its annual Marathon weekend, and one of the activities on the agenda will give its brewing community a day in the sun.

For two days at the end of August, the Santa Rosa Beer Fest will introduce beer lovers to pours from all across the country, with old favorites on tap too. It will be set up in the Old Courthouse Square, and everyone can sit back, relax, and savour the samples.

While the ice-cold beer may be the main draw for many of the guests, there is plenty else on the schedule. Admission to the event is free, and there will be vendor booths, lawn games, and music. Food will be available at the trucks that have applied to be a part of the celebration.
