Santa Rosa beer release promises hops and lineups

An annual beer launch in Santa Rosa has become so popular that the brew pub releasing the ale is warning visitors of lines up to six hours long.

The Russian River Brewing Company has been releasing its Pliny the Younger Ale for 16 years. In anticipation of the event, the brewery has issued some rules about customer conduct on its website.

At 10.25% alcohol by volume (ABV), Pliny the Younger is significantly higher than most standard beers, which are usually anywhere from 4-6%. It is also has a strong hoppiness with bitterness and aromatics. It is brewed once a year and released on the first Friday of February.

The 2020 release will be the first duo-location release, as Russian River has opened a new store in Windsor.

The release is so popular that customers are limited to three pints of Pliny the Younger per day. The beer is available only until that day's supply runs out. The brewery's website lays out strict rules for people in line. No tents, no camping, and staying away from the entrances of neighboring businesses are clues as to just how many thirsty beer fans clamor to get their taste buds in contact with this special brew.

Print shops can be helpful in popular public events such as these. Signage, Banners, and Brochures are all important to display and distribute.

The Russia River Brewing Company's launch of its Pliny the Younger Ale starts February 7 and goes until February 20. The brewery is located at 725 4th Street in Santa Rosa. The Windsor location is at 700 Mitchell Lane.
