A local group of riverkeepers has put out a call for assistance in cleaning up a Santa Rosa creek.
Russian Riverkeeper is organizing a clean-up project for the waterway, and it will kick off at Olive Park. The goal will be to help divert trash and debris from the creek so that it will not reach the Russian River and eventually the ocean. The tools needed for the job will all be supplied.
On the day of the clean-up, the registered volunteers will be asked to check in and they will receive gloves, Bags, and trash grabbers. They can choose a variety of routes to follow, picking up litter as they go. It was explained in the event listing that this will keep the debris from being washed into the river and ocean by rain. Participants are asked to wrap up the activity by sharing a photo of what they have collected on social media.
Those who would like to lend a hand with the project will need to sign a mandatory liability waiver ahead of time. A company that prepares Letterheads can also supply other custom business documents and Forms.
Russian Riverkeeper has requested the assistance of the public with this creek clean-up on April 16. The activity is scheduled to begin at 9:00 am in Olive Park.
