Santa Rosa area project seeking volunteers

The Charlie Brown Christmas Tree Grove, a Santa Rosa area initiative organized by People4Parks, depends upon the efforts of community volunteers to offer this annual celebration, and it is looking for some help in disassembling the display for the season.

The volunteers for the morning project will be moving and carrying the 200 wine barrels, trees and other decor that were part of the grove. An assortment of equipment is also needed for the successful completion of the job, including drills, dollies and screw guns, which will be used for the removal of trees and moving barrels. Trucks with attached trailers are also required, as these will be used to transport the items to storage until they will be needed again.

Since many of the tasks that will be performed will be done outside, the helpers are asked to wear suitable protective clothing and also a sturdy pair of work gloves. They will need to sign liability waivers before they get to work, and Stationery printers can both design and Print items like these.

This opportunity for the public to engage in a morning of community service will be offered on Saturday, January 5. More details about the activity, which will be held on the Windsor Town Green, can be found by visiting its online listing.
