Santa Rosa gardeners will soon have an opportunity to add to their collection while they meet others who share their horticultural interest.
Willowside School will be the site for a plant sale that will raise funds to help keep the middle school nursery up and running. It gives students a chance to get their hands dirty while they learn about science, farming, and the natural world, and is sustained by monies raised through events like this.
There will be thousands of perennials, native species, and other plants on offer, and at least 50 cultivars of Japanese maples will also be on sale, with prices starting at $25 each. There will also be succulents, ornamental grasses, and many other selections, plenty of which are attractive to butterflies, hummingbirds bees, and other pollinators.
The planners for the sale have asked that all those who come out invite their friends, families, and neighbors to help ensure the event is a big success. A printer can work with the planners to design Promotional Products that can help to get the word out about an occasion like this.
This opportunity for local green thumbs to add to their gardens will be held on Saturday, June 16 at 628 Hall Road in Santa Rosa. Anyone who has questions about the occasion has been asked to contact 707-569-4724.
