Over the past year, Santa Rosa’s Oakwild Ranch-Toboni Vineyard has worked hard to aid the area in recovering from the Tubbs fire. It is now inviting the public to be a part of a celebration that will continue to offer the area a helping hand.
The organizers of the 15th Annual Oakwild Ranch Wine Tasting have decided to use recovery and rebuilding after the fire as the theme of the occasion. It will celebrate the efforts of everyone who has pitched in to help the local area return to its ‘pre-fire’ state while also looking forward to the work that will need to be done in the future.
The festivities are scheduled to begin in the afternoon and continue on into the evening. As in previous years, guests will have an opportunity to sample some of the vintner’s latest offerings, and there will also be seafood paella, wood-fired gourmet pizza, and an assortment of BBQ delicacies as well. Parking is free, and a shuttle service will whisk the guests from the lot to area in which the celebration will be held. A local banner printing company will be able to provide an annual event like this with reusable pop-up Banners they can utilize year after year.
This annual celebration of both the wines of Oakwild Ranch and the strength of the local community will be taking place on October 6. It is set to begin at 2:00 pm.
