Santa Rosa’s senior set will be spending a summer morning learning about the area’s supports and services, and how they can help to make their golden years the best yet.
The Senior Expo to Santa Rosa is on the way for its 23rd year, and it will boast at least 60 exhibits for the public to explore. While it will be geared towards older adults, everyone is welcome, and it will also offer both sponsorship and vendor opportunities.
The celebration, which has been planned for Person Senior Wing at 2060 W. College Avenue, is set to provide local service providers and other small businesses, as well as local not-for-profit and community groups, with a venue where they can showcase what they have to offer. Free health screenings are on the agenda, and tours of the venue are also in the works. Admission will be free. The contact phone number for the organizers is 707-543-3745.
To add further value to the event, the planners are interested in hearing from potential sponsors as well as exhibitors. Companies and groups that set up shop in community fairs or expos can order Promotional Products from a local Print shop.
The Senior Expo of Santa Rosa is scheduled for Saturday, July 13. It will begin at 9:00 am, and those interested can drop in until it wraps up at 12:00 noon.
