All papercraft-minded people around Santa Clara will be in for a treat next month, as the Stamp and Scrapbook Expo pays a visit.
The expo is, as the name implies, all about stamping and scrapbooking. There will be a number of exhibitors, some of whom are offering coupons, as well as local store discounts and coupons. Participants will have some opportunities to create their own crafts and take things home with them.
Scrapbooking is the art of making things with paper, usually with added decorations, glitter, captions, autographs, and other personal touches. Stamping in this case refers to using Stamps to add color and decoration to paper crafts. Scrapbooking is most often used to help preserve memories, such as to make a fun photo album. This expo is all about the love of crafting with paper.
Those interested in attending should be aware that pre-sale online tickets are less expensive - $8 each for Friday and Saturday. On site admission is $10 each per day. The expo also accepts volunteers, and there are multiple ways for people to help out through the fairly quick application process.
