Showcase to aid families with traditional event

A hotel in Santa Clara is renting its space out for an event in late January that will help with planning a quinceañera.

A quinceañera is a ceremony and party celebrated by Hispanic families that puts the spotlight on a girl who is turning the age of 15. The tradition symbolizes the girl’s growth into womanhood. Historically, it represented the guest of honor being ready for marriage, but in more recent times, this has shifted for many into the girl being formally able to date instead. There are many pieces to the event, with it often including a ceremony following the family’s faith in addition to the bigger bash that follows.

Planning a quinceañera can be a lot to take in, which is where Expo Quinceañera Show comes in. Much like a wedding expo, the show gives attendees easy accessibility to vendors for everything needed to create the celebration they are wishing for. This includes planners, rental services, dresses, makeup artists, tuxedos, hair stylists, decorations, music, accessories, and photographers.

Tickets to the event are on Eventbrite, and they come in two options. One is $15, which covers access into the expo. A $100 option covers a trio of guests and seats, priority entry for the fashion show portion, water, and a gift bundle. Such bundles often include Promotional Products.
