Santa Clara runs to support heart health and football

Fans of the San Francisco 49ers will run in one (or more) events this fall.

The main event is a 4.9 kilometer run, which is approximately three miles. The race actually finishes on the 49-yard line in Levi’s stadium in Santa Clara, home of the 49ers.

The other part of this run is the lap-style full marathon run. Participants will run 13.1 miles on a lap-style course, each lap being one mile long. There are two ways to participate in this race: individuals can complete the run on their own, or groups of two to six people can participate as a team, with the trade-off point being the 49-yard line, so long as the total comes to 13.1 miles.

Apart from the racing, there will be an expo and alumni meet and greet. There are expected to be a few celebrity and legendary 49ers fans at the event, some of whom may also participate in the races. The ticket gains participants entry to the vendor expo, with the possibility of autographs. The 49ers museum experience is also included, and a race tee and finishing medal will be given to all participants.

Events like this often take advantage of printing services. All the runners have numbers on them, and the vendor tables might also want printed information or Business Cards. Tickets are currently on sale starting at $20 for juniors, $30 for the team relay, and $40 for the regular run. The event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, November 18, starting at 7:00 am.
