Winterfest returns to Santa Clara this year, once again taking over California’s Great America. The event continues to grow and includes skating, festive foods, shopping, and winter decorations, with other new features added this year.
Winterfest features one of the tallest trees in the Bay area, which has been decorated with lights. Giant toy soldiers welcome guests to this winter playground. There are multiple rides too for the enjoyment of guests.
Artisan Alley showcases local artists and vendors, giving guests an opportunity to shop for unique gifts for the holidays. There are also a number of eating places with specialty food and beverages for the season. Hot chocolate is a favorite.
This is a ticketed event, and tickets are available online or at the event. There are also shows available during the event, all of which are winter themed. Some of them include characters from Charlie Brown. There is ice skating available at the event, and new this year is a carriage ride around Winterfest.
