Santa Clara parties for library

Residents in Santa Clara are getting ready for the Breakfast at Tiffany’s Librarypalooza 2017. Organized by Santa Clara City Library and Friends, the event features music, food, and more.

The party is a fundraiser to benefit the Santa Clara City Library, which sees more than 20,000 visitors each week and circulates more than 2.5 million items a year - half of them children’s Books. The annual librarypalooza is the only major fundraiser the library has to raise money for special programs that fall outside government funding such as music programs, community services, and special technology.

The event will feature live music and dancing as well as food and drinks provided by the Mission College Culinary Arts Program. Additionally a live auction will be held offering packages such as tickets to Hamilton, a winery tour for four, a special cooking demonstration with Chef Cory, and more. Off Site childcare is available, promising bounce houses, activities, and pizza for little ones. Interested businesses can also sponsor the librarypalooza, having their Logo Design featured on all advertising related to the event as well as other marketing perks.

The Breakfast at Tiffany’s Librarypalooza will be held on February 4 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. at the Santa Clara City Library, located at 2635 Homestead Rd. Admission is $50 before January 20 or $60 after. Anyone interested in more info should visit the website.
