A weekend workshop will show Santa Clara gardeners how easy it can be to add to add perennial herbs to their own beds.
The UCCE Master Gardeners of Alameda County has prepared an online workshop that will outline the benefits of growing these plants. It is hoped that at the end of the session, the participants will be eager to get growing.
The organizers of the activity explained that perennial herbs are usually easy to grow, and require little watering or other care. The attendees will learn how to select the plants best suited to their tastes, conditions and budget, and both container and in-the-ground growing methods will be covered. Indoor gardening using these plants will be demonstrated too. Advance registration is required, and joining instructions will be provided one the sign-up process has been completed.
One way the organizer of a function like this can make it even more useful is by offering Booklets to any registrants who request one. These can be prepared by local Print shops, along with Promotional Products to be included with each of these educational items.
The Perennial Herb Gardening workshop will welcome those who would like to learn more about these culinary plants on this Saturday, March 20. It will begin at 11:00 am and the schedule runs for one hour.
