Santa Clara event celebrates winter creativity

An early December event in Santa Clara is creatively highlighting cold weather.

For the Love of Winter is an event run by Paint Nite. The participating students will work with the instructor, Paint Zenyful, to craft a picture showing a joyful and expressive snowman with a simple wintery backdrop.

The level of skill an individual has doesn’t matter, meaning even those who haven’t tried something like this before will be able to follow along and end up with a nice piece of art. This particular event is also open to teenagers.

For people who have a friend or loved one who wishes to not paint, this person is welcome too. The only requirement with this is that non-painters remain elsewhere in the venue while the lesson is actively going. Tickets are not needed for these guests either, as long as they follow the wishes of the instructor. A short pause in the painting time will give these individuals a chance to socialize and see how everyone is progressing.

For those able to drink, the venue has a bar which will be selling to participants and other guests.

Tickets to the event are available through Paint Nite’s website. These will cost $45. The venue will be Embassy Suites Santa Clara. Many activities held within hotels will use signage with the event’s Logo Design printed onto it to help attendees find their way. The December 6th experience starts at 7:00pm.
