Santa Clara cafe to teach edible art

A small coffee shop in Santa Clara will be making latte art more accessible in mid-August.

This edible art form makes use of the foam and/or milk that goes on top of the coffee-based drink known as a latte. The pictures made through the drink may appear simple, but they take skill to actually execute.

This lesson will enable everyone to choose between coffee, matcha, or decaf drinks to start with as their base. The instructor will show students how to use the materials and ingredients in order to pull off the types of images they see in so many posts on social media. In addition to this, general tips about brewing coffee and making other beverages will be presented, allowing guests to make their drinks at home as good as what they would find in cafes.

As a form of Promotional Products, those who attend the class will get a 20% off coupon to use at the cafe, as well as the chance to taste the beverage they make. Any skill level is welcome, whether the attendee has no experience or has tried the art form before. The coffee shop will provide all the materials needed for the class.

The venue is the Jiaren Cafe. The class will be half an hour long, going from 4:15 pm to 4:45 pm, and costing $50. The date of the event is August 15.
