Popular artist to go on tour

A show in early September is sure to entertain Santa Clara residents as part of a tour.

Keith Urban is a New Zealand born singer in the genre of country music. Raised in the midst of a musical family, Urban learned to play the guitar at a young age. Launching his solo career with a self-titled debut album, he saw quick success. Eventually, Urban made a move to the United States. After a short stint in a group and several years of hardships, he again released a self-titled album, now in the US. This second one went on to become the break that Urban was waiting for. Some of the hits that followed are “Somebody Like You,” “Wild Hearts,” “Brown Eyes Baby,” “Little Bit Of Everything,” and “Boy Gets A Truck.”

The Speed of Now World Tour will be coming to the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View. The One Too Many VIP bundle is priced at $104.50. This contains a spot on the lawn, a “stadium bag,” a lanyard, a laminate displaying the tour’s Logo Design, a piece of merchandise, and a host.

Regular tickets range in price from $29.50 to $317.50. First-time purchases of these will include a digital representation of a ticket, to commemorate the event. This gift does not apply to any resale tickets. Ingrid Andress and Tyler Hubbard will serve as the opening acts for the concert. The show will kick off at 7:00 pm on Saturday, September 3.
