A band that has been around for many decades will be going on tour once again, with a show sure to entertain residents of Santa Clara.
Kansas made their debut in 1974, with the help of Wally Gold. The group has continually innovated and tried new ventures, while also keeping their distinctive sound. With hits like “Dust in the Wind,” “Point Of Know Return,” and “Carry On Wayward Son,” Kansas has remained a mainstay in the industry. The band’s works have become both gold and platinum, some even being platinum six times over. In 2019, Kansas also released an orchestral record with the London Symphony Orchestra, recorded at the famous Abbey Road Studios. The members are currently Ronnie Platt, Phil Ehart, Tom Brislin, David Ragsdale, Billy Greer, and Richard Williams.
For $275, attendees can get a reserved seat in a premium location within the venue, a signed photo of the band, a CD, a drumhead with a Kansas-related graphic design, a tumbler, a tote bag, and a poster. A meet and greet is not included in this VIP bundle. Regular and platinum tickets range from $45 to $283.
The venue will be the San Jose Civic. Masks, along with vaccination proof or a negative test result, are required of all guests. Full vaccination includes booster shots. The show will kick off at 8:00 pm on May 5.
