REO Speedwagon is set to play a concert in San Jose, a city not far from Santa Clara, in mid-September.
The group, founded in 1967, have produced countless radio hits. Some of these include “Take It On The Run”, “Can’t Fight This Feeling”, and “Time For Me To Fly”, among many others. Their 1980 album “Hi Infidelity”, has gained the 10x Diamond certification from the RIAA, and worldwide the group has sold over 40 million records. Kevin Cronin has fronted the group since 1972. The other members are bassist Bruce Hall, guitarist Dave Amato, Neal Doughtry on keyboard, and Bryan Hitt on the drums.
This show will be played at San Jose Civic. Tickets range from $49.50 to $79.50, with platinum tickets that will fluctuate in price based on demand. VIP packages are priced at $180. These contain premium ticket reservations as well as several exclusive items. Those consist of a tour shirt, USB lanyard, set of pins, a laminate featuring a concert graphic design, a collectible coin, and commemorative ticket. Limited amounts of these are available.
Safety policies for the venue vary depending on the event, as well as state guidelines. The best way to keep up with these is to track the show on social media. Due to the increase in cases, masks are currently being required at the time of writing, though attendees should still check closer to the concert. The show will begin at 8:00pm. The date is set to be September 16th.
