Indelibly Yours presents at the De Saisset Museum

From now until Sunday, July 1st, Smith Andersen Editions and the Tattoo Project will be presenting Indelibly Yours at the De Saisset Museum located within the Santa Clara University at 500 El Camino Real in Santa Clara, California. This event runs normal gallery hours which can be looked upon on the gallery’s website.

Forty years later, Smith Andersen Editions, the creative master for printmakers and artists with press operations under the watchful eyes of Paula Kirkeby present the artistic interpretation of creative boundaries that were endless. This event was open to artists who are invited to spend from two days to two weeks working at the press to see what creative mastery they could press. Now, completed these works are on display at the gallery and the public is invited to come and see the exhibition. Guests who mastered the press were from both the printmaking sector and the tattoo sector of the art world; five of each were invited. The project was about exploring how printmaking interconnected with tattoo artistry.

By the end of the Print making process a colorful exhibit was created and there is now a collection of experimental prints on display for the public to view. This exhibit premieres at the gallery and then becomes a touring exhibition stopping at other art venues. This show also features a catalogue and bios from the various artists who participated.

Print companies may have produced some fine looking brochure printing pieces for this great event. For additional information about this Print exhibition or gallery hours, please visit the De Saisset Museum’s website, or call the gallery at 408-554-4528.
