The Santa Clara Art & Wine Festival will take place this year in Central Park, with almost 175 booths to visit, along with wine, beer, and other local attractions.
Art fans and wine enthusiasts will no doubt look forward to the event. As the name implies, the festival is celebrating art and wine from the Santa Clara area. Artists featured are from the local area, as well as the larger regional area. There will be different mediums of art featured, including jewelry, clothing, home goods, and crafts.
There will be four local vintners at the festival allowing attendees to sample their wines. There will also be live entertainment at the venue, on three separate stages. Community groups will be preparing and selling food. For those with children, the Kids Kingdom is full of fun activities. Central Park itself spreads over approximately 50 acres, and includes a lake, picnic areas, lots of green grass and trees.

Although the event is free, pets are not allowed. The festival is expected to draw around 50,000 people over the course of the weekend. Currently, the festival is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, September 15 and 16, starting at 10 am each day.
