A mid-January event is giving Santa Clara residents a chance at unleashing their inner artists.
Paint Nite offers art classes following the “paint and sip” concept. Hosting artists and instructors will vary depending on the event. Many choose to use a local restaurant or bar as the venue, giving guests a different menu to choose from at each class.
Autumn at the Dock will be led by Gabriel Nazareta of Super Paint Party. The image shows a calming nature scene of a still lake and colorful trees, with a wooden dock sticking out into the water. Attendees will work with Nazareta to learn the techniques and steps needed to paint the work themselves, with some of the said techniques being something painters may be able to use on other art pieces in the future.
The venue will be a private room within a P.F. Chang’s location in Sunnyvale. The town is just a few miles from Santa Clara. It can be found at 390 W. El Camino Real.
Tickets are available via Paint Nite’s website. The fee for this class, which does not include food or drinks from the venue, is $45. All supplies and instructions are included. Seats are not assigned. The event is open to teens and adults. Flyer printing is a common promotion technique for creatively focused experiences.
The activity will run from 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm on Monday, January 20.
