Event to welcome Santa Clara senior set

Santa Clara’s seniors and older adults will be the VIPs for an event that will see them walk away with information to help them live their best life.

Those who wish to make the most of their golden years may find that the Be Strong, Live Long health and wellness fair is just what they have been looking for. It will run for three hours, and a BBQ lunch will be served to the crowd.

The attendees at the function will be invited to browse through the wide assortment of informational displays that will be set up for the day, and while they do, they can meet service providers, take part in the assorted health screenings on the agenda, and learn about the resources available to them in their own hometown. At least 50 different not-for-profit groups from the local area will be represented, and music will provide a fun backdrop to the occasion.

A community resource fair is one of the types of activities that may benefit from the services of a brochure printing company. These establishments will be able to provide a full line of informational materials to distribute at a budget-friendly price.

The city of Santa Clara will be hosting the special celebration on Friday, May 19. It will get started at 11:00 am at Fremont Park.
