San Jose’s Britannia Arms will be the location for a special evening that has been planned for lovers of local food and beer, and it has invited Santa Clara residents to join in the fun.
The guests at the Pliny the Younger Beer Dinner will be treated to a three-course dinner that features dishes prepared using locally sourced ingredients. They will also be tastings and a chance to win a prize.
Attendees at the function will be treated to a meal that will open with a salad crafted using heirloom tomatoes, gorgonzola, and roasted beetroots. After this, they will be served a 12 oz Snake River Kobe steak with au gratin potatoes and creamed corn, and then a variety of desserts. There will also be beer tastings, and for those who really enjoy the heat, there will be a chance to sample an assortment of hot sauces.
Raffle tickets will be offered for sale, and a variety of prizes will be drawn for. The ticket price for the evening starts at $95 each, and the raffle tickets are being sold for $20 for five and $50 for 20.
